Riyadh – Mubasher: The number of Saudi workers in the private-sector facilities increased by 5.7% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2018, General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said in a recent survey.
Total workforce in the non-government buildings rose 3.6% by the end of Q2-18, compared to Q2-17, according to the survey named ‘Economic Indicators’.
Year-on-year, the value of compensations paid to private sector workers jumped 8.9% during the April-June period of 2018.
Operating expenses for the private sector facilities grew 10.2% from April to June, compared to the same period last year, while total value of operating revenues levelled up 9.9% year-on-year.
